Offerings

Naturopathic Care

Naturopathy is a system of healthcare that weaves together traditional plant based medicine with the most recent scientific evidence. It is the art and science of supporting the body’s natural ability to find balance. As a Naturopath, I view the body as an interconnected system and I concentrate on treating the whole person, not just one condition in isolation. Naturopathy is non-invasive and allows for us to heal and manage a myriad of concerns you may be experiencing. There are many reasons why someone might want to work with a naturopath, these may include:

  • Compromised immune system
  • Food sensitivities
  • Restorative sleep maintenance
  • Thyroid issues
  • Chronic pain and chronic conditions
  • Fertility, pregnancy and breastfeeding care
  • Grief or loss support
  • Hormonal imbalances
  • Mood disorders - stress, anxiety, depression
  • Weight loss
  • Fatigue and adrenal fatigue
  • Skin health
  • Gut health
  • Sleep maintenance
  • Preventative medicine

There may not be a ‘term’ or a specific reason for the way you are feeling, and that is ok… If you are having trouble sleeping, experience low energy, suffer from fatigue or anxiety, are feeling stressed or overwhelmed, have skin breakouts, suffer from painful periods, would like nutritional and lifestyle advice or just want an extra helping hand with your wellbeing - do not hesitate to reach out - you have landed in the right place. Offering a range of 1:1 packages; there are many beautiful ways I can support you naturally.

Principles

To create and hold a safe space for those who I work with, I have introduced the following principles to all areas of my work.

Trust

This comes first and foremost. Without trust there is no sturdy platform for us to use throughout this journey. Creating a therapeutic relationship with you is my ultimate goal. I am specially trained with tools to guide and support you through your healing journey so you can feel comfortable to open and speak freely.

Safety

The core philosophy of Nirmala Wellbeing is balance and kindness. Growth happens when we gently step out from our comfort zones...not leap. We will work together to create healthy boundaries within your emotional, physical and spiritual body. This is extremely important to keep you and the spaces that we work in safe. We work together, at your pace.

Confidentially

Everything that happens in any space I hold is highly confidential. People are free to share what has shifted for them and their own personal experience shall they wish to. When things are shared out of context, it takes away the magic and respect for this work. Speak mindfully.

Resourced & Responsible

As I love to say, this work is not a magic pill you can take once and be done with, you have to show up day after day in service and that can be really hard. Rest assured, you are in mindful hands. As a member of NMHNZ, I follow The Therapeutic Order, Hippocratic Oath, and The Six Principles of Naturopathic Medicine:

  1. First, Do No Harm (Primum non nocere)
  2. The Healing Power of Nature (Vis medicatrix naturae)
  3. Identify and Treat the Causes (Tolle causam)
  4. Doctor as Teacher (Docere)
  5. Treat the Whole Person (Tolle totum)
  6. Prevention (Praevenic)

Embodiment

All work that I bring forth is work that I have studied and journeyed deeply with myself. I walk my talk and live a life filled with devotion to this lifestyle and to my own self love expansion. As I change, my work will also.
